Today we will be continuing our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed. The person in this picture is named Marc Rich. This man was wanted for multiple felony charges going back decades. He profited wildly for years by doing illegal business with our enemies while they were still under strict embargo. He did business with dirt bags and murderers and made a killing in the process. He propped up our enemies all around the globe. He was deservedly on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List. He fled to Switzerland and lived a life in exile until he arranged for multiple third-party cash payments to the Clintons for millions of dollars.

On January 20th, 2001, Bill Clinton issued an inexplicable Presidential pardon on his very last day in office in the wee hours of the morning. Marc Rich was basically allowed to purchase a “get out of jail free” card from the Clinton administration. The New York Times referred to this act as a shocking abuse of presidential power. He continued to provide the Clintons with millions of dollars in funding long after his release.

This act sent a powerful message around the world which still exists to this very day: Bill and Hillary Clinton have a price and can be bought.

Today we will be continuing our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed.  The man in the far left side of this photograph is named Johnny Chung.  Mr. Chung was born in Taiwan and was the owner of an automated faxing business in California.  In 1996, he would find himself in the middle of one of the most serious and damaging scandals in the history of the United States.

Johnny Chung made at least 49 visits to the White House throughout the early years of the Clinton administration.   During one of these visits, he handed a 50,000 dollar check to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Chief of Staff, Margaret Williams.  Williams accepted this check and then handed it over to the Democratic National Committee even though federal law bars government employees from accepting campaign donations while on government property.  For the two years leading up to the 1996 election, Johnny Chung would end up providing twelve separate donations to the DNC totaling 366,000 dollars.

Johnny Chung’s suspicious contribution behavior would ultimately trigger a federal investigation. Mr. Chung was charged with funneling illegal campaign contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign by asking his friends and the employees of his office technology firm to make contributions for which they were later reimbursed.  Johnny Chung agreed to cooperate with federal investigators as part of his plea agreement.  He soon admitted that a Chinese Army Lieutenant Colonel named Liu Chaoying (who was an executive with a state-owned aerospace company) provided him with 300,000 dollars to donate to the Clinton campaign.

This is where the story becomes extremely sticky and disturbing.  Immediately after Chung made these illegal campaign contributions to the Clinton campaign, President Clinton agreed to voluntarily transfer some of our top secret missile technology over to China for no obvious reason.  This is the technology that would help companies like Liu Chaoying’s aerospace company to improve the accuracy of its long-range ballistic missile technology.  This would drastically improve the effectiveness of the weapons which could be used at any time against the United States.

Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown was intimately involved with the business dealings going on between the United States and China during this time.  He would allegedly tell his business partner Nolanda Hill that Hillary Clinton had conceived of a scheme to sell trade mission plane seats to businessmen who gave at least 50,000 dollars to the DNC.   Ron Brown would soon be placed under tremendous pressure to testify against the Clintons about the illegal fundraising operation that had been recently discovered.   Ron Brown would die in an apparent accidental plane crash on April 3^rd, 1996 before he would ever get the opportunity to testify in court.   Many people have deep skepticism regarding the details surrounding Secretary Brown’s death which still exists to this very day.

Johnny Chung would eventually be convicted of bank fraud, tax evasion, and two counts of conspiracy to violate election law.  The DNC would go on to raise tens of millions of dollars which would lead to the successful reelection of President Bill Clinton.  The black box from Ron Brown’s plane crash into a Croatian hillside would never be recovered.

The person in this picture is named Linda Tripp. She was a former White House aide who worked at the Pentagon’s Public Affairs Office. In April of 1996, she met another former White House aide named Monica Lewinsky who had just been transferred to work in the Pentagon as an assistant. Over the course of that summer, Lewinsky began to reveal to Linda Tripp that she was having an ongoing affair with the President of the United States. She informed Tripp that she was deeply in love with Bill Clinton.

Over the course of the next year, Lewinsky’s relationship with the President gradually deteriorated. Lewinsky began to voice frustration over the way she was being treated and sent Mr. Clinton an angry letter. Lewinsky informed the President that only she and Linda Tripp knew about the ongoing affair but threatened to go public with this information if he did not agree to meet with her. Linda Tripp quickly became concerned about this situation. Tripp had been working in the White House on the night that Jerry Parks was assassinated back in 1993. She reported witnessing a flurry of phone calls and secrecy by the White House senior staff as information regarding the death of Mr. Parks came in over the fax machine. She had reportedly seen a similar burst of action in the West Wing on the night that Vince Foster had died. After looking into these two incidents, Linda Tripp suspected that these people were killed in the first few months of President Clinton’s term in order to keep them both quiet.

Linda Tripp ultimately decided to start recording her conversations with Monica Lewinsky. She explains that she felt compelled to do this in order to provide herself with some potential leverage because she was beginning to fear for her life. Tripp continues to record and collect conversations with Monica Lewinsky over the course of many months. During this period, President Clinton is becoming entangled in an ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit by former Arkansas state employee, Paula Jones. Lewinsky and Tripp are both subpoenaed to testify in this ongoing lawsuit which reportedly makes President Clinton very nervous.

Linda Tripp eventually calculates that she might end up in real physical danger if she doesn’t quickly go public with her knowledge of President Clinton. She soon provides her recorded conversations to investigators. She leaks information to the press and to the personal attorneys of Paula Jones. She agrees to wear a wire and extract as much information from her friend as possible. The public backlash which Linda Tripp faces for her actions is brutal. The press painted Tripp as a terrible friend who betrayed someone who trusted her. People made fun of Linda Tripp’s weight as well as her looks. Actor John Goodman developed a morbidly obese character on Saturday Night Live named Linda Tripp and the show mocked her appearance almost every single weekend. In Linda Tripp’s mind, the public scrutiny was almost unbearable but at least she had kept herself and Monica Lewinsky safe.

The released information eventually led to the discovery of one famously stained blue dress. Bill Clinton was forced to publicly admit to his prolonged affair in the Oval Office with Monica Lewinsky and his repeated lies to the American people. The President was subsequently impeached by the House of Representatives on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice. According to Linda Tripp herself, no one was more ruthless towards her during the aftermath than Hillary Clinton. Tripp stated that Mrs. Clinton routinely attempted to destroy her in the media. Friends reportedly overheard Hillary Clinton tell her staff, “Get anything and everything on Linda Tripp.” Tripp believed that Hillary wanted the defamation of her character and the destruction of her credibility to begin right away.

Linda Tripp may be one of the most misunderstood characters in this whole saga. She did not consider her role as a traitor to Monica Lewinsky but as a protector. She simply believed that she was trying to help bring down a corrupt administration while keeping herself and those around her safe. She has remained out of the public spotlight until just very recently. She decided a few months ago to speak out publicly against Hillary Clinton’s Presidential aspirations. She recently proclaimed in a public statement, “Without a doubt it’s time for a female president but it is without a doubt not the time nor will it ever be the time for Hillary Clinton to be that president. She simply lacks the integrity.”

Today we will be continuing our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed. This is one of the most difficult cases to provide a fair examination given that it was one of the least reported on and investigated at the time. The information from these witnesses are very difficult to corroborate and the reader should probably take this into account as one attempts to digest this terrible tale. However, this single incident sets off a chain of events that almost brings down Bill Clinton’s presidency and therefore must be addressed.

The man in this picture is named Jerry Parks. Mr. Parks was reportedly watching television on July 21st, 1993 when breaking news stated that White House Deputy Counsel Vince Foster had died the previous day from a gunshot wound to the head. Further details revealed that Foster’s body was found just outside of Washington D.C. in Fort Marcy Park. Jerry Parks reportedly turned to his son during this news report and told him, “I am a dead man.”

According to family accounts, Jerry Parks was a “nervous wreck” over the next few months. He began carrying a sidearm with him almost everywhere that he went and drove evasively in order to avoid being followed. Mr. Parks had been the security chief for the Clinton-Gore campaign headquarters in Little Rock the previous year. He reportedly told his family that Bill Clinton was “cleaning house” and that he was “next on the list.”

Jerry Parks had a son named Gary who described a long and complicated history between Vince Foster and his father. Vince Foster had reportedly approached Mr. Parks years ago asking him to carry out surveillance missions for Hillary Clinton. All the way back in 1981, Governor Bill Clinton had lost his reelection bid. His rising star was beginning to fall for a brief period of time and rumors of his infidelity had begun to surface. According to Gary Parks, Hillary Clinton had approached Vince Foster and asked him to gather evidence against her husband which she could use to eventually divorce him. According to Jerry’s wife, her husband carried out sensitive assignments for Hillary Clinton’s inner circle for almost a decade. Gary reported that he even accompanied his father on a few of his missions. He describes them both using long-armed cameras to gather incriminating evidence while Governor Clinton was engaging in various infidelities.

Jerry Parks rarely had any communications with Vince Foster after Bill Clinton’s inauguration, but he did reportedly receive a phone call in mid-July of 1993 from Mr. Foster stating that Hillary had become anxious about any files in Jerry’s possession that could do real political damage to the President and herself. Jerry Parks reassured him over the phone that the data he collected was secure. Just a couple of weeks later, Mr. Parks home was burglarized by sophisticated criminals. Phone lines were cut and alarm systems were turned off. The Parks family states that the incriminating files on President Clinton went missing.

On September 23, 1993, as Jerry Parks was driving towards his Little Rock home along Chenal Parkway, a white Chevy Caprice with two men inside pulled up beside him and showered Jerry’s car and his 320 pound hulking frame with semiautomatic gunfire. After the target car slowly came to a halt, one of the men emerged from the mysterious vehicle and fired two 9-mm rounds into the chest of Jerry Parks then quickly sped away. Several bystanders witnessed the murder in real time but the killers were never found.

Half way across the country, Pentagon Public Affairs employee Linda Tripp would eventually learn about the brutal assassination of Jerry Parks… and this would lead to a chain of events that would change Bill and Hillary Clinton’s legacy in our nation’s capital forever.

 

Today we will be continuing our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed. The man in this photograph is named Vince Foster. His story is the most convoluted and controversial in the entire Clinton saga. I plan to only report his story using the facts as they are known to us today. The readers will be allowed to extrapolate this data in any manner that they see fit.

Vince Foster was from Hope, Arkansas and was a childhood acquaintance of Bill Clinton. He eventually became a law partner and close personal friend of Hillary Rodham Clinton. When it came to friendship with the Clintons, a person didn’t get much closer than this. He was an extremely good and ethical lawyer by all accounts and he had become the head of the Arkansas Bar Association. He was a tall and elegant man. He was soft-spoken and extremely intellectual. Foster reluctantly agreed to leave his Little Rock office in 1993 and join the Clinton team as Deputy White House Counsel.

Vince Foster had no experience with politics and was not considered to be a “political animal.” His wife and family stayed behind in Little Rock. He was a lifelong friend of Hillary Clinton and he came to Washington D.C. in order to work by her side. Hillary Clinton rarely ever appointed men to work with her. When it came to appointing her own staff at the White House, she chose twenty-nine women and only one man. Hillary Clinton was quoted as saying once that she usually chooses to work with women because men can be “assholes.” Vince Foster was a man whom Hillary Clinton trusted deeply. Mrs. Clinton once described Foster as being like Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch – reserved, upright, and dependable. It was Vince Foster’s shoulder where Hillary Clinton rested her head and cried during her father’s funeral. Rumors swirled for years about a strong romantic link between the pair but this was always denied by both sides.

One of Vince Foster’s first White House jobs was to interpret and defend the Clinton’s tax returns regarding their controversial Whitewater land deal. Foster wrote in a private note to the President and his wife warning them that “this is a can of worms that you shouldn’t open.” He was also asked to look at the paperwork surrounding allegations that funds from the failed Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan had been illegally diverted to the Clinton campaign. This responsibility also caused Mr. Foster to have grave concern. Most upsetting to Vince Foster however, was the recent firing and public smearing of seven White House Travel Office employees. Foster felt a personally responsibility for this and feared a congressional investigation into his role. White House aide David Watkins quoted Foster as saying about this incident, “My God, what have we done?”

Vince Foster’s professional situation continued to deteriorate as time went on. Around the date of July 13th of 1993, Hillary Clinton held a meeting to discuss health care legislation when she suddenly humiliated and publicly ridiculed Foster in front of his peers. She reportedly told Vince Foster that he didn’t see the big picture. She told him that he would always be a little hick town lawyer who was obviously not ready for the big time. She blamed him for the previous improper vetting of failed political nominations and finished the rant by saying, “You are not protecting us… you have failed us.”

As the investigations circling the White House gathered from all sides, Vince Foster might have known that he could eventually be pressured into misleading congressional investigators under oath. He reportedly began to lose weight and became very quiet. A few days later on July 16th, Foster met his wife Lisa for dinner. He reportedly began to cry when his wife asked him if he felt trapped. He told her that he was done with the Clintons and was seriously thinking about resigning. Three days later, it was reported that he called his doctor who prescribed him an antidepressant. Throughout that next day, Hillary Clinton was desperately trying to reach Mr. Foster by phone. She asked her Chief of Staff on three separate occasions to have Vince Foster call her immediately. Vince Foster was found dead in Fort Marcy Park along the Potomac River that very same evening at 5:50 PM on July 20th, resting on a slope beside an old Civil War cannon. Within just a few hours, White House aide Craig Livingstone and many others were observed by secret service agents removing boxes from Vince Foster’s office.

A note was found soon after Vince Foster’s death. Some believed it to be a suicide note but it turned out to be a rough draft of a resignation letter. It was found torn into twenty-seven pieces in Foster’s briefcase. It included this statement: “The public will never believe the innocence of the Clintons and their loyal staff.” The letter ended with Vince Foster’s last known words, “I was not meant for the job or the spotlight of public life in Washington. Here ruining people is considered sport.”

Many rumors continue to swirl around Vince Foster’s death. His death was ruled as an act of suicide by the FBI and other official investigative bodies. However, many people believe that the circumstances surrounding Vince Foster’s death remain suspicious. Some people questioned just how little actual blood was discovered near the body. I do not intend to provide evidence today to either substantiate or refute those rumors. I can tell you that a bullet was never recovered from the scene of Vince Foster’s death. I can also report to you that a resignation letter eventually surfaced by Miguel Rodriguez, the lead investigator of the Office of Independent Counsel, which emphatically stated that Vince Foster had a second gunshot wound to his neck.

Given all of the information currently available to me, the only conclusion that I can reach with a fair degree of confidence is this one: If Vince Foster had never met Bill and Hillary Clinton… he would probably still be alive today.

Mr. Dale was the lifetime director of the White House Travel Office. Billy Dale and his department was responsible for making travel arrangements for the White House Press Corps. He had faithfully served seven U.S. Presidents over the past 32 years. Billy Dale actually voted for Bill Clinton for President and was excited to see him arrive in Washington D.C in January of 1993.

Hillary Clinton had a very close friend from Arkansas during this time named Harry Thomason who ran an aircraft charter company. Mr. Thomason was very interested in obtaining the White House travel business. One of Thomason’s representatives called Billy Dale during this early transition period and expressed interest in this charter company working with the White House. Mr. Dale declined the offer explaining that he did not need another middleman with more unnecessary overhead for the work that they do.

Within a matter of days, Hillary Clinton began to talk of rumors that the White House Travel Office had been taking “kick-backs” and profiting illegally from their position. She became very vocal regarding her concern about financial mismanagement in the Travel Office and insisted that her staff look into it further. The staff was informed that there would be “hell to pay” if Hillary Clinton didn’t get her way.

On May the 19th, Billy Dale and his staff of six other people were abruptly fired. Mr. Dale was publicly accused of embezzling 14,000 dollars. The White House Press Secretary announced that the entire Travel Office staff was being let go due to gross criminal misconduct. Mr. Dale spent the next two years and over 750,000 dollars attempting to clear his name. This required him to sell his own home. He was audited by the IRS twice over this same time period. After scores of evidence and testimony were presented in court, it took only two hours for Billy Dale to be acquitted of all charges. The Office of Independent Counsel later announced that Hillary Clinton’s sworn testimony in the case was completely inaccurate and untruthful.

The saddest part about this whole story is that Billy Dale and his Travel Office staff worked at the behest of the President. Mr. Dale could have been legally dismissed on President Clinton’s very first day in office without cause.

In Hillary Clinton’s world, when someone insults and rebuffs one of your closest friends over the phone, you don’t simply “let them go”… you completely destroy their entire life.

Today we will be continuing our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed. The person in this photograph is named Craig Livingstone. He was the original director of the Clinton Administration’s White House Office of Personal Security. In 1996, it was discovered that Mr. Livingstone had improperly requested and received somewhere between 400 and 900 top secret files from the FBI. He gained illegal and unauthorized access to some of the darkest secrets of many of the most powerful people in Washington D.C. The political power of such potential knowledge is almost immeasurable.

President Clinton publicly apologized for the incident and attributed this unfortunate event and being caused by a “series of mistakes.” It was pointed out that the White House was not responsible for hiring Craig Livingstone and that this responsibility fell upon the Secret Service. The Clintons subsequently argued that all of the misdeeds of Mr. Livingstone should rest squarely at the feet of the Secret Service. Livingstone immediately announced his resignation and no charges were ever brought against him.

It was later revealed that Hillary Rodham Clinton was personal friends with Craig Livingstone’s mother and had recommended him for hire. We are now all expected to believe that Hillary Clinton personally placed a family friend in the White House who proceeded to steal some of America’s darkest secrets without ever bothering to share these valuable secrets with anyone else. Once again, there was no irrefutable proof that Hillary Clinton ever did anything wrong.

The media encouraged us all to simply move along…

they told us that there is nothing else to see here…

and the band played on.

Today we will be continuing our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed. The person in this photograph is named Susan McDougal. She worked for years at the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan in Arkansas. Hillary Clinton was a lawyer for Madison Guaranty and the two had become close friends over the years. In 1978, these two individuals decided to go into a real estate business with their husbands. They all became legal business partners and purchased 230 acres of land that would become the Whitewater Development Corporation.

Whitewater Development claimed to provide resort-type housing near beautiful bodies of water for people who wanted vacation property and retirement homes. However, this corporation had arranged their contracts to be so legally restrictive that the individuals would completely lose their property including their entire down payment if they were ever late on even one payment. This resulted in a recurring turnover where the Clintons and their partners could constantly evict their tenants and keep the individual down payments as profit. The Clintons acknowledged that this was harsh but defended themselves by explaining that everyone was doing this kind of thing back then. This partnership failed and was completely dissolved once Bill Clinton became President. Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan eventually collapsed and went bankrupt.

Many people wondered how Bill and Hillary Clinton could have even afforded to become real estate investors back then when they had very little money and low monthly income. That is when former municipal court judge and investment banker David Hale came into the picture. Hale claimed that Governor Bill Clinton coerced and urged him to make a large government-backed bank loan to Susan McDougal and her husband. A fraudulent $300,000 federally-backed loan had been issued to Susan McDougal in order to start up the Whitewater Development Corporation.

Susan McDougal was granted legal immunity if she would simply testify in the case and finally tell the whole truth regarding what actually happened in the Whitewater deal. McDougal remained completely silent. She instead chose to protect her friends and went to federal prison on contempt charges. Her husband was charged with eighteen felony counts of fraud and conspiracy charges and eventually died of a heart attack at the Federal Correctional Facility in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 57. David Hale quickly disappeared from public view and subsequently went to prison because of his role in Whitewater. Hillary Clinton became famous and went directly to the White House.

Hillary Clinton was subpoenaed to produce billing records from the Rose Law Firm in order to reveal her level of involvement with Jim and Susan McDougal’s shady business dealings. Mrs. Clinton denied for many years that any such records even existed. She claimed that the records had simply become lost. Then two years later, a White House assistant discovered copies of these requested documents sitting on a table in a library known as the Book Room which were then immediately turned over to investigators. These records revealed Hillary Clinton’s detailed and intimate involvement with the failed Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan. The FBI found five sets of fingerprints on these mysterious so-called “missing” documents. One set of fingerprints belonged to Hillary Clinton. Bill and Hillary Clinton are the only two active participants in the Whitewater scandal to never serve a single day of jail time.

Today we will be beginning our series on the dark and sordid history of the Clinton administration for the young and perpetually uninformed. The person we will focus our attention on today is a fellow named Robert L. “Red” Bone, a former Arkansas based commodity broker who operated out of Springdale. Mr. Bone was a former employee with Tyson Foods and was once the personal bodyguard of Donald J. Tyson. Tyson Foods is a major agricultural producer in Arkansas and had numerous issues at the time that the Clintons could politically affect.

Robert Bone “assisted” Hillary Clinton back in 1978 when she suddenly decided that she wanted to start trading in the high-risk world of cattle futures. Ten months later, amateur-investor Hillary Rodham Clinton had turned her initial investment of 1000 dollars into nearly 100,000 dollars. Keep in mind that back then this was more than double what Bill and Hillary Clinton earned together in an entire year.

Further investigation into Hillary Clinton’s “investments” showed that Mr. Bone allowed Mrs. Clinton to initiate and maintain many trading positions even when she did not have enough money in her account to cover them. This would be like a casino allowing you to place bets with money that you didn’t bring into the building. Other records suggested that almost half of her “so-called profits” came from larger trades made by someone else which were subsequently shifted into her account. It was also discovered after the fact that an investor named James Blair who worked closely with Tyson Foods made almost all of the trading decisions on Hillary Clinton’s behalf.

During the Clinton’s tenure in Arkansas, Tyson Foods received over nine million dollars in government loans. They were allowed the placement of Tyson company executives on important state boards and granted favorable decisions on environmental issues. All of this was carefully hidden behind a thin veil of plausible deniability of a possible quid pro quo.

If you follow Bill and Hillary Clinton’s behavior closely over the years a pattern will quickly emerge. You never actually find the dead skunk… but the stench is everywhere.
